Give and take
My employer sometimes calls me at home and requests that I do all kinds of work at home, and I don't get paid for any of this. In view of this, am I allowed, when at work, to print certain private documents or make private phone calls to a reasonable extent, let's say a little more than is normally accepted?
If Va'ad HaBayit was "guardian of the rent "(shomer sachar)
I serve on Va'ad HaBayit. I do this on a voluntary basis and would be very happy if someone would replace me, but that has not happened. I saw that the halacha is that a committee is defined as safeguarding the rent (shomer sachar). Therefore my question is, is it so simple to be considered a shomer sachar?
